Animal quilling patterns

To make this cute quill elephant design you will need:

A quilling tool or toothpick

10 strips of pink paper strips

2 black 1 inch pieces of paper

glue

For the body of the elephant glue two strips of pink quilling paper together. Roll and shape into an oval shape.  For the head roll 1 pink strip into a small loose circle.  For the ears make two tear drop shapes with the pink strips by pinching one end. For the feet and hands use 4 strips to roll tight circles.  Cut your black strip into two very thin 1 inch pieces and roll them into tight circles for the eyes.  For the elephant trunk roll a 1 inch thin piece of paper into a spiral.

Place your two little black circles into the round pink circle. Glue the two tear drop shapes on each side of the head and the spiral strip below the eyes.  Glue the large oval shape under the head.  For the little arms glue a tight circle on each side and two tight circles at the bottom of the little feet.
