We're coming out of Beta with a bang!

We're coming out of Beta with a bang!

What's your motivation with Zujava? Is there on particular call to action that you are trying to get through to readers? There are certain hot spots on a page that are more "clickable" than others. Let's say that you are promoting your own blog, an Amazon section, or your Zazzle store.
During beta Bill and I were worked hard to fix issues, add new features to the site, and make sure we provided support to you, our writers. Now that we are out of beta we want to ensure that the new features we work on are what the community needs most going forward.
With this in mind we are launching a new tool to track feature requests for the platform: Trello!

There's no place you know better than where you live, and no matter where you live, there's somebody out there that wants to read about your town or city.
Now, try this out. Go to Google and search for your home town. You'll likely find a Wikipedia entry, the official town websites, and some of the most popular businesses in town. Mixed into the results, you may also find some data aggregation sites that list statistics like population, average income, and other stats.

Today is a milestone for Zujava and our incredibly talented writers. On the heels of our announcement that we left Beta, today is the first ever payday at Zujava! w00t!
If you made over $5, you will be paid via PayPal. If not, it will be added to your pending money on the earnings report tab on your dashboard. Once you reach $5 in pending earnings, a PayPal payment will be sent your way. Please remember to fill in your proper PayPal email address so that you can be paid.

Time to give Mom some props! To the mothers of the world, we hope you are enjoying today, whether it's spending time with family, relaxing, doing something for yourself, or honoring other mothers in your life.
To help you to celebrate Mother's Day this year, we've prepared a few ideas to help get something delicious on the table for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert.
In addition, we've featured six Mother's Day worthy leaves on the home page for today. Be sure to check them out!

I remember it like it was yesterday. The first time I published an article online, one of my biggest questions was "how can I use free images on my articles?" I had seen others using images on their articles, but had no idea what licenses I needed to adhere to, how to give credit back, or where to find high quality photos that were free to use. Ladymermaid has done a great job answering that question. Even if you've been publishing online for a while, there are some sites on this list that you should take a look at.

Last month, we debuted the author RSS feed, which is available on every author profile on Zujava. If you're not familiar with RSS, it's a feed of all of your leaves. It's been dubbed "really simple syndication."
