During beta Bill and I were worked hard to fix issues, add new features to the site, and make sure we provided support to you, our writers. Now that we are out of beta we want to ensure that the new features we work on are what the community needs most going forward.
With this in mind we are launching a new tool to track feature requests for the platform: Trello!
It's super easy. Just head over to our Zujava Feature Requests Trello Board to check out what features writers have requested. Want a feature you see? Just create a free Trello account and vote on it! The more votes a feature gets the more informed Bill and I will be about what everyone wants.
This is just the initial list. It will grow with time. If you have an idea for a feature you don't see listed just contact support or post in the forums and we will add it.
One important note: Bill and I have a clear vision for Zujava: We want to make this the absolute best place to write online. With this in mind, we can't (and won't) promise to build every feature requested. However, we do promise to carefully review and consider each request.
So come on over and tell what you want. We want to hear form you!

A way to contact the author would be nice. I noticed some typos in a leaf and didn't want to embarrass them by leaving a comment but there was no other way to contact them to let them know about the typos.

Yes, I agree that a private messaging system between authors would be an excellent feature to have. It would be useful for the reason VarietyWriter stated above, and a great way to build support among writers.

I've never used Trello so I need some help.
I just joined and verified my email address. Now how do I become a member of the Zujava page and how do I vote?

I'd really like to see more "easy html" formatting options for the content in the editor: text color, text sizes, font style, etc (even if it has to be just a few basic choices to keep things neat).
More colors for the "black box" than just black, even just orange like in the logo would be a big bonus... But additional colors would be fun as well.
Basically just more things to make an article pop and the content more personalized.
Also, this would add another interactive level: a "related links" module where visitors could suggest their own or recommended links to be added to a link list (that the leaf author could approve or deny before becoming public on the leaf).

I would like Zujava to stay unique though, but there is no harm is having some new features.

I would like to see a place underneath each photo to give credit and a url to the site where you got your photo. Something unobtrusive, but clearly legible.

I would love it if the image uploads to the text module could be hyperlinked.
