Are Zujava stats reliable?

I published a leaf http://www.zujava.com/best-mmo-games-in-my-opinion

In less than half an hour I got 14 visits from which 12 direct 1 from squidoo and 1 from google.

I found this too good to be true. What do you think? Is this the true situation?

Our stats are imported from Google Analytics, so we think they are reliable.

Down the road, we will be making continuing changes to perfect our stats. For more detailed stats, you can synch your profile with your own Google Analytics account. This will give you more detailed stats that you can track. Edit your bio to add your unique GA tracking code.

I had the wrong GA tracking code on my bio page! Ahhh! I just fixed it, will it update my pages? Do I have to add that huge long html code to each leaf?

My Zujava and my Analytics code don't match at all. My Analytics shows 4 hits overall and 9 pageviews for the day they were all published (and it was up and running already), whereas my Zujava stats all showed 34, 35 and 41 mystery Google hits *per leaf* plus a couple of referrals that also showed in Analytics from Twitter, but not any other referrals. I'm assuming it's only showing visitors, not pageviews, as it's ignoring my IP when I load them again.

And they're not my views, according to Analytics (it does seem not record them when I'm logged in, but shows when I'm logged out - which IS nifty). It DOES look like referrals from the front page/within Zujava are being treated as mystery Google hits - which makes sense, as I shouldn't have gotten instant search traffic on publishing anyway, but there's still a huge, huge difference.

Hi Flynn! Thanks for reporting this. I did take a look at your leaf stats in our source analytics program and the data is looking consistent. If the traffic source if reported as Google than it isn't from the home page. The stats we import are pageviews for all time, not visitors. (We are working on getting 30-day stats as well.) We don't track pageviews of your own content when you visit it (when logged in). Viewing your leaf in another browser while not logged in would be counted.

If you opened a second browser, say Firefox, which has a default home page of Google.com, then typed in the URL of your leaf it would count that as a referral form Google, I believe.

If you look at your Analytics for pageviews for all time for each leaf, what numbers are you seeing? Do you mind ending this into support so we can chat there?

Poking around in my stats on the Analytics side, it looks as if my code just isn't appearing, or is appearing on someone else's leaves. I'll email you the details to the support email.
