Just because you think a girl is beautiful does not mean that her being pretty is going to make her less likely to want to go out with a guy like you. Pretty girls probably have basically the same concerns about life as you do.

You may even be her knight in shining armor. You will never know until you talk to her.

So this is where you get into the big picture. Getting pretty girls to like you means that you have to get up the confidence to show her that you really are a guy that she might want to get to know a little better.

It is a fact that women are attracted to men who appear to be more dominant than other men. This does not mean that women like an overbearing aggressive man, quite the opposite in fact, being a bully is very unattractive to girls. What girls find attractive is a confident, stand on my own two feet, happy with who I am, type of man.

So stand tall and square back your shoulders. It is the man who stands out confidently in a crowd who is much more likely to be the one who gets the pretty girl. Confidence is the key to this and having self assurance will get the girl to notice you.

Be the alpha dog. Stand proudly tall, make direct eye contact with those around you, and don't be afraid to speak in a confident tone of voice. A self assured voice will attract the attention of those around you.

You can also use your physical presence to increase your odds of getting a date with the girl of your choosing. Next time you find yourself in a group where pretty girls are present insure that you stand out from the crowd. You can appear larger and more dominate than other males by simply following a few basic steps. If you have the choice then choose to stand rather than sit and, rather than moving off to the side or the corner of the room, situate yourself within the center of the room so you are more clearly visible to those around you.

If you are smaller in stature then dress to give your body the appearance of size. Wear a jacket which will make your shoulders appear larger. A tapered waist can give the appearance of wider shoulders. A slight heel on your boots or shoes will make you appear taller. Stand proudly tall and speak with confidence in your voice.

Don't be afraid to go up to a pretty girl who catches your eye. It's important for you to initiate a conversation. Be assertive in your approach and do not shy away because you are afraid of rejection. Be self assured, be well mannered, and smile. A confident happy person is an attractive one. Be an alpha dog.

Passive, assertive, or aggressive. Which type of personality are you? An assertive man is much more likely to win the heart of a pretty girl than is either the passive or the aggressive male.

Passive people tend to let others bully them around and are individuals who let other people take away their rights.

The aggressive type person is a bully. He steps on the rights of others, can be very mean, and will even use force to get his way. He takes away the rights of other people by being overly aggressive.

The passive person often finds their situation frustrating so when the opportunity presents itself they may talk behind another person's back or act as a bully to people they perceive as being weaker than them self. When a passive person acts in this manner they are then termed a passive - aggressive personality.

The ideal personality type is that of an assertive person. This person is in the center of the scale and maintains his rights without taking away the rights of others. Assertive people are generally happier, more confident, and suffer less stress than passive or aggressive individuals.

It really is not difficult to learn how to become an assertive person. Like most things in life it just takes time, patience, and a willingness to change. There are many ways to acquire assertiveness training. You can take an online course, pick up one in book form, or attend a course at your local college. It is time well invested and it will help you get the girl of your dreams to notice you.

There are girls everywhere out there but the question of the day is, "How do you find a girl who may be the right one for you?".

Look around you at the grocery store, department store, park, beach, library, and every other location that you have the opportunity to peruse in your local area. Girls are out there. You just have to get out there and find the right one for you.

Finding love isn't an exact science. You may get turned down a few times and you may get hurt a few times. The key to finding lasting love is in having a motivated and innovative attitude. Look often, look in the right places, take advantage of your opportunities, and don't give up. The girl you are looking for is out there waiting for you to find her.

Believe if you will that falling in love is controlled by the random act of a little fellow in a diaper as he flies aimlessly throughout the world shooting arrows at those around him. Just know that you can run from it, but you can't hide, and that once you are infected there is no means of erasing the fact that you are indeed in love.
