Great couples costumes for Halloween!
Each year my sister and her husband come up with a new Halloween costume theme that works together as a couple. One year he was Batman and she was Batgirl, the year before he was a pirate and she was a wench. You get the idea. That got me thinking of all the different ways you can coordinate your get-ups together this Halloween. It's such a clever way to really get in the spirit of the holiday and you can have a lot of fun planning it together.
I've pulled together some terrific coordinating costumes here as well as providing an extensive list of additional suggestions that may help you find the perfect theme to express your individuality together!

Captain Jack is quite a dashing fellow and has a keen eye for a bonny lass!
In honor of my sister and brother-in-law I just had to include this one - they were the greatest Batman and Batgirl.
Drawing inspiration from the world of fantasy and fairy tales can be a lot of fun. Think of old children's stories like Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast. Or how about getting inspiration from a fantasy time period and basing your costumes on greek mythology, Middle Earth, a magical kingdom. Perhaps one of these themes are perfect for you:
- Little Red Riding Hood & the Wolf
- Goldilocks and the Bear
- Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland
- Cinderella and Prince
- Cinderella and a Mouse
- Princess and Frog
- King and Queen
- Beauty and the Beast
- Damsel and Knight
- Goddess and Gladiator
"My grandma, what big teeth you have!"
This one is just too funny - take a close look at the expression on the face of the wolf mask. It doesn't come with the granny glasses, but they really add a great touch.
A beautiful damsel and her charming knight, come to sweep her off her feet and ride off into the sunset together.
Ah, a girl can dream, can't she?
What women wouldn't want to take this gladiator home? Even a goddess gets lonely sometimes.
There's just so many couple themes that go together perfectly and are always fun to make your own. Like these classics:

- Biker couple
- Butler and Maid
- Football player and Cheerleader

Playing cowboys and indians was fun as kids, who says it can't be fun as adults?
What would a gangster be without his beautiful dollface?
I just love these gangster and flapper outfits!
