She's becoming a young woman, but there is still room for "cute" in any tween girl's vocabulary. Which makes these novelty ear buds and cord winders perfect as a small gift or stocking stuffer.
Small accessory items like these are great for girls when you can't decide if something is too young for them. They're fun and allow them to have something whimsical without it feeling like it's meant for a little girl, like the pom-pom design in the picture. And since just about every kid has some kind of device they can use ear buds with, they're sure to be able to use a set. (I have three because I'm always needing them somewhere I didn't plan on!)
Now, because these earphones are designed for cute, they aren't necessarily the best quality for sound. Which is OK. Someday they'll care more about the sound quality, but for now, these will do. Especially for the price, which is typically below $10.
The winders and cord managers also come in cute designs and are a good option if your tween already has ear buds she loves. There's always something that needs to be wound up and kept under control.

These are even better as stocking stuffers because they are so small and inexpensive. Most of these come in at just a dollar or two. Plus, your girl probably got ear buds with her MP3 player, but isn't likely to have a cord winder yet.
