My family pet is a chihuahua mix who I rescued from a shelter located in Georgia. When I visited the Georgia shelter and when I visited on May 8Th, 2009, I stopped by each animal and talked to them a bit and I wished I could take them all home if I was able to. Back in a dark corner of the shelter I spotted a little fragile and frail little butterscotch chihuahua.

A number of year ago when I lived in rural western New York state, I had a Gray Tree Frog as a pet. It was an accidental acquisition, being that it was a 'wild caught' specimen.I came home from work late one foggy night and it was perched on my balcony handrail, apparently interested in the bugs that the yard lamp was attracting.
