I have been thinking of what toys or gifts to buy for a 4 year old boy, as my son will be turning 4 this July. Preschool-stage will be filled with more energy and creativity. So here are some of my choices to get for him and I would like to share it with you too.

I love the Southern Pacific Railroad. I grew up in Bishop, about 6 miles from the northern terminus of the Southern Pacific narrow gauge. My grandparents lived in Point Pleasant, less than a mile away from a shared Southern Pacific and Union Pacific rail line. During the summers I would sometimes go with my dad on his business trips to Mojave which is right on a shared Southern Pacific and Santa Fe rail line. Naturally then the Southern Pacific became my favorite railroad and it still is, even though it was long ago absorbed by the Union Pacific.
