    I love dystopian fiction. If I had to choose a single genre that was most interesting to me, I would have to put my finger directly on dystopian fantasy and science fiction. I love the post-apocalyptic feel of these novels, and I read them so quickly that you'd think that they were sustaining me the way that food, water, and air sustain a person.

For more than a year the media has been all over the stories, and they've been getting quite a bit of press. Now parents are asking whether or not the books are suitable for their teenaged children to read. Personally, I can't blame them for feeling apprehensive.
