  • The Ultimate Question New Versus Used Car

    This debate has been going on since I first started getting into automobiles.

    Is it better to buy a new car or a used one?

    Well unfortunately the answer isn’t simple and it completely depends on many factors.

    But I’ll begin with the basics.

    Obviously this decision is null and void for many people on a small budget.

    A salesman at a car dealer

    When members of the general public want to purchase an automobile they want two main things;

    1. They want to buy the car for less
    2. They want the vehicle to be reliable

    Of course there will be other factors such as wanting finance but the two overriding thoughts of the majority of people is the price and reliability of the vehicle.

    On this leaf, I will show you some practical tips which you can use to improve the chance of getting a better deal and hopefully improve the chance the car won’t conk out soon after you buy it.

  • How to Prepare Your Car for a Long Drive

    Most of us car owners have to go on a long drive from time to time. Often it’s something fun like family break and sometimes it will be a business trip.

    But either way it’s important to prepare your vehicle to lessen the chance of the breaking down or even something dangerous such as a burst tire.

    I’ve actually had a burst tire twice on two consecutive car trips! Thankfully on both occasions I was able to get the car under control and stop safety.
